As one of the marketing directors on the Dakotathon executive team, I helped lead social media marketing efforts to promote events, encourage fundraising, and share stories about our cause supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. I created graphics and engaging content across our Instagram to boost event attendance, donations, and raise awareness. My strategy focused on highlighting participant and student involvement, showcasing fundraising milestones, and communicating the real-life impact of donations through storytelling and visuals. This helped build a strong digital presence and community engagement around one of the University of South Dakota’s largest student-run philanthropy events.
