My experience with Coyote News gave me a well-rounded foundation in broadcast journalism and live production. As a member of the technical crew during our weekly Wednesday shows in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, I operated cameras, managed on-screen graphics, and ran the teleprompter. In Spring 2024, I took on an on-camera role as the anchor for our daily news updates on social media, delivering timely campus headlines. I then advanced to become the main news anchor for the Fall 2024 semester, leading our weekly broadcasts and developing my presence as a trusted on-air communicator. This progression allowed me to grow both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, strengthening my technical skills and on-air confidence.
